The corridor
Most wholesale software picks a category and serves it worldwide. Kapsul picks a country and serves whatever it makes — because the hard part of exporting from Japan is the same whether you sell rings or rice bowls: the language, the yen, the paperwork, and a buyer in Paris who has never heard of you.
Ready-to-wear, denim, knitwear — sizes across the top of the line sheet.
Materials, stones and plating stated per piece, in the buyer's currency.
Bags, leather, eyewear — small orders that still need real terms.
Formulations and provenance documented for buyers who ask before they order.
Producers whose hardest step abroad has never been the recipe.
Tableware, textiles, lighting — case packs and cartons stated on the line sheet.
Furniture, objects, lighting — lead times a buyer can read before ordering.
Ceramics, lacquer, woodwork, with the atelier named on the passport.
Golf clubs, knives, bicycles — specialist goods no category page was built for.
These are examples, not limits — whatever Japan makes, it sells the same way.
Moving collections out of Japan, season after season, long before there was a platform for it.
Tokyo and Paris, Japanese and English, in the same room — so nothing is lost explaining one side to the other.
The craft is the product. Everything we build exists to carry it abroad without flattening it.
FAQ
Not exactly. Each brand keeps its own page, its own prices and its own relationships. We curate, connect and broker — the brand stays in control.
Nothing on the buyers you already had — bring them and Kapsul takes no cut of that relationship, for good. We are paid a commission on the buyers we introduce.
Nothing. Stores browse, connect and order for free, and that does not change.
No. A brand page is opened by link, not published, and search engines do not index it. Prices are visible only to the buyers the brand granted access to.
The back office runs in Japanese and English. What a buyer reads is English by default, and any other language once the brand has translated and published it.
Half an hour, your catalogue, and an honest answer about whether Kapsul is any use to you this season.
